Breakfasts and morning teas are by-far our most popular catering category here at EatFirst. I've been helping our customers organise perfect breakfasts and morning teas for a few years now, and there are a few items that I quickly came to realise are an absolute must-have.
The combination of both sweet and savoury baked goods (think danishes and cakes alongside sausage rolls and savoury muffins) has always created a well-balanced spread. Of course, alongside the more indulgent menu items, I always recommend having healthy options too. Fruit platters or skewers and yoghurt cups are my go-tos.

The key to the perfect breakfast menu is making sure you have something for everyone. Remember... Some like it sweet, some like it savoury. Some prefer to indulge, some prefer to keep things healthy.

Are breakfast boxes available as a catering option?
Yes! Many of our caterers offer single-serve packages that can make it easy to either take back to your desk, serve at an event without sit-down tables or are ideal for avoiding clean-up.

Where do you offer breakfast and tea catering?
We work with hundreds of local suppliers right across mainland Australia, and offer plenty of choices in major cities, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
Unfortunately we don't have any partners in Tasmania for breakfast catering at this time, but we'd still be happy to give you advice on what to order or how much if you need it!
How early can breakfast catering be delivered?
We have partners that can deliver as early as 6am, but options will be limited that early. By 7am, you'll have plenty of choice!
When you're browing in our marketplace, you can select a date and time that you need your delivery by. Only the suppliers that will be able to get to you that early will appear.
What vegan items can I order for breakfasts and teas?
Breakfast is so much more than bacon and eggs!
If you do eat dairy, breakfast rolls with halloumi will even make your meat-eating friends jealous. Pastries (made without butter) can also add a sweet or savoury bite to breakfast.
Or, opt for a DIY smashed avo platter, where you can add on (or leave out!) as many toppings as you'd like on your toast.
Chickpea puddings and coconut yogurts can also add a healthy option.
