The office lunch your team looks forward to
Cloud Canteen is our subsidised daily office meal program. Each person orders their own lunch from local restaurants, it arrives labelled with their name, and you stay in control of budgets, dietaries and billing.
What is Cloud Canteen?
Cloud Canteen is our subsidised daily office meal program. Your company sets the days, the budget and the subsidy, and each employee pre-orders the meal they actually want from a rotating line-up of local restaurants.
Everyone's meals arrive together on a set schedule, packed and labelled with each person's name, dish and dietary information. Ordering, headcounts, dietaries and billing all run through one platform.
Most offices start one to make their busiest office days worth coming in for. Food works because it's the perk staff actually use, every single week.

FAQs
we'll talk it through.
What is Cloud Canteen?
EatFirst's Cloud Canteen is Australia's favourite staff meal platform, an app-powered program built to boost office attendance and bring teams together. Employees pre-order their own meals from the best local restaurants, every dietary need covered, so no one is chasing orders and admins stay in control of the budget. Corporate-trained drivers deliver on time, straight to your office. Billing is just as simple: one consolidated invoice, charged only for what's eaten, with nothing to reconcile at month end.
How does Cloud Canteen work?
Step 1: Set your schedule and budget.Work with your dedicated account manager to lock in your weekly meal schedule, then set per-head spend limits (e.g. $25) to suit your budget. You decide how much, how often, and for whom.
Step 2: Your team orders for themselves.Every team member gets their own login to the Cloud Canteen app. They browse rotating local vendors, filter by dietary needs like vegan, gluten free or halal, and order for the week ahead. Anyone who hasn't ordered gets an automatic reminder before cut-off, and same-day windows handle last-minute changes, so you're never chasing orders or collecting preferences in a spreadsheet.
Step 3: One delivery, ready to distribute. All orders arrive together in a single delivery, within your chosen time slot. Each meal is individually packaged, labelled by name, and clearly marked with dietaries, so there's no sorting and no mix-ups. Staff just grab and go. Orders are bundled and delivered with zero tailpipe emission vehicles prioritised, keeping your program's footprint low.
Step 4: Run it all from one dashboard.Oversee orders, track spend against your limits, pull reports, and view your consolidated invoice, all in one place. Manage multiple office locations from a single account, across Australia and into Singapore, New Zealand and Europe. Only-what's-eaten billing means nothing to reconcile at month end, and your account manager is on hand whenever you need to adjust the program.
Does this work for a hybrid team?
Yes, and it is the most common reason offices start one. Because staff order individually against a cut-off, you only pay for the people who are actually in, and you can put the food on the days you most want the office full.
When do staff need to order by?
A cut-off is set when your program is built, so your team knows exactly when to order by. Anyone who misses it can be covered with spare dishes, or you can place an order on their behalf from the admin portal.
How often can we run a meal program?
As often as you want people in. Programs commonly run one to three days a week on a team's anchor office days, and can also run daily, fortnightly, or as one-off team days. You choose the days, the times and the delivery locations, and you can change them.
Can staff pay for part of their own meal?
Yes. Meals can be paid for by your company, by your staff, or split between the two. You set a per-head contribution and staff top up the difference at checkout with their own card. No awkward follow-ups and no petty cash.
How does delivery work for Cloud Canteen meals?
Every Cloud Canteen delivery is handled by the restaurant's own corporate-trained drivers, never third-party gig couriers. There's no UberEats driver wandering your lobby looking for reception. Our vendors go through an extreme vetting process covering food safety, reliability and corporate delivery standards, and their drivers know how to navigate office buildings, loading docks and sign-in procedures. Your team's meals arrive together, on time, within your chosen delivery slot, handed over properly rather than left at the door.
What restaurants do you have available on Cloud Canteen?
We are proud to partner with a large variety of Australia's favourite restaurants and are constantly adding more. Our most popular Cloud Canteen restaurants include: Guzman Y Gomez, Zeus Street Greek, Cali Press, Betty's Burgers, Mary's Mad Mex, Roll'd Vietnamese, Subway, Grace of India, Orrico, Daily Greens, Sandoitchi and many more.
How much does an employee meal program cost?
Pricing is per head, and depends on the format you choose, how often you run it, the cuisine and vendor mix, and your headcount and delivery location. Tell us the budget you have and we build the menu to it. Use the program sizer above to work out your volumes, then send it to us for a per-head price.
How do we get started?
Tell us your city, headcount, the days you want covered and any dietaries. We build a sample menu and bring lunch to your office so your team can try it before you commit to anything.
