Traditional Christmas Roast
A classic for a reason, a Christmas roast - whether beef, chicken or pork - is always a winner.
Dishing up delicious food and offering employment to NDIS participants, Cookery Nook serves up lemon and garlic roast chicken platters that pair perfectly with salad, fruit and cheese platters for a well-rounded lunch.
Blackout Coffee and Catering is offering a twist on the traditional Christmas roasts with turkey, cranberry and brie or ham-off-the-bone sliders.

Do Brisbane caterers offer special menus for Christmas?
Yes! And with a whole range of menu items too because sometimes, Christmas just isn't Christmas without a glazed ham or fresh fruit-topped pavlova.
Our catering partners are still working on their 2023 menus. But here's a taste of what they offered last year for Christmas. (But of course, regular menus are also available if you'd like, too).
- Blackout Coffee and Catering: Holiday buffet with a baked pineapple ham, roast chicken and salads, Christmas drinks packages and a pavlova share board
- Entice Me Catering: Warm and chilled Christmas lunches including maple-glazed hams, herb-crusted roast beef, turkey with cranberry jus, roast vegetables and plenty of finger foods and desserts
- Etto Catering: Christmas sliders, fresh prawns, gourmet cheese platters with salads and fruit mince pies, white chocolate slice and rum balls for dessert
- Five Sisters Gourmet Catering: Plenty of roast goodies including veggies, lamb and ham
- Karma Cupcakes: Festive Christmas cupcakes, including gluten-free options, with flavours including red velvet, lamington and coconut
- Little Birdy Co: Classic chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with Christmas-themed decorations
Do Brisbane caterers supply vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free/dairy-free food for Christmas?
Of course! And at EatFirst we've made it easy to find which items cater to dietary requirements on each of our menus.
When you're browsing through our supplier menus, look for the green symbols G, D, V and Vg. G = Gluten Free, D = Dairy Free, V = Vegetarian and V= Vegan.
How far in advance do I need to order catering for Christmas lunches in Brisbane?
The earlier the better, but if you have left it late - try not to worry.
Some caterers can turn around an order in as little as 24 hours - but that’s only if they aren't booked out. We make it easy to find this on all of our caterer pages.
At the top right of every page, we will note the turnaround time at the top right. You’ll see a clock symbol and the number of hours you're required to order in advance listed there. Some items require a longer lead-time, especially anything that's slow-cooked or special for a holiday, but this will be listed on the page as well.
Can catering be delivered anywhere in Brisbane?
Yes! If you’re having your Christmas party outside of the office, as long as you’re in the Brisbane area you’ll be able to get the order delivered to your venue of choice.
Is catering available on Christmas Eve in Brisbane?
Yes, but options may be limited in Brisbane. While Christmas Eve isn't an official public holiday, many businesses will already be closed down until the new year - especially when 24 December falls on a weekend.
Caterers focused on corporate clients could be closed that day, so book early to avoid disappointment and to make sure you're able to lock in an order.
Is catering available on Christmas Day in Brisbane?
Christmas Day may fall on a Monday in 2022, but it's always a public holiday. Many corporate caterers are likely to be closed, but we understand that not every Brisbane business can close on public holidays.
So if you do have staff working on Christmas and want to treat them to something special, don’t panic. You will still have options. Alternatively, you can also opt for items that would re-heat easily or something like sweet or savoury pastries, cakes and muffins that can be delivered a day or two in advance.
