Do caterers offer special menus for Christmas in Adelaide?
Of course! If you're hankering some Christmas classics or want to do things a bit different, there will be a great variety on offer from our catering partners.
It's still early and our catering partners are working on perfecting their Christmas menus for 2023. Here's a sample of what was on offer for Christmas last year.
- Corporate Platters: A selection of grazing platters, turkey-cranberry-brie pastries (yum!) plus pavlova, Christmas pudding, fruit mince pies and fruit cake
- Luxurious Grazing: Holiday-themed grazing boxes including the usual suspects like cured meats, cheeses and bread along with Christmas cookies and candies
- South Terrace Catering: Offering both traditional and non-traditional options, choose from classics like ham on the bone and fruit mince pies or opt for Korean-style chicken wings, buffalo chicken and skewers
- The Village Baker: Fresh-baked Christmas treats including ginger bread biscuits, fruit mince pies, Christmas cake and plum pudding
Do Adelaide caterers supply vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free/dairy-free food for Christmas?

How far in advance do I need to order catering for Christmas lunches in Adelaide?
The earlier the better, but if you have left it late - try not to worry too much as there's likely still an option.
Luckily, some caterers can turn around an order in as little as 24 hours - but that’s only if they aren't booked out.
At the top right of our menu pages, we will note the turnaround time at the top right. Here, you'll see a clock symbol and the number of hours you're required to order in advance listed there.
Can catering be delivered anywhere in Adelaide?
Yes! If you’re having your Christmas party outside of the office, as long as you’re in the Adelaide area you’ll be able to get the order delivered to your venue of choice.
Is catering available on Christmas Eve in Adelaide?
Yes, but options may be limited in Adelaide that day. While Christmas Eve isn't an official public holiday, many Adelaide businesses will already be closed down until the new year - especially when 24 December falls on a weekend.
We'd recommend booking early to avoid disappointment and to make sure you're able to lock in an order with the caterer you want.
Is catering available on Christmas Day in Adelaide?
Christmas Day is on a Monday in 2023, but it is a public holiday, so many of Adelaide's corporate caterers are likely to be closed. But, we understand that not every business can close on public holidays and you may be looking to treat your staff who do need to work.
Don't worry - you will still have options. Alternatively, you can also opt for items that would re-heat easily or something like sweet or savoury pastries, cakes and muffins that can be delivered to you a few days in advance.
